Account and saved information

Google sign-in provides your account identifier, name and email address to authenticate you. Private Capsules are available only to their owner. Link sharing exposes only the version you explicitly share, until you stop sharing.

Account information and saved content are stored on our server. Session cookies are required for sign-in. You can edit your display name, sign out or delete your account in account settings. Stopping sharing and deleting your account are separate actions.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 collects public exploration page views and a few actions: searching, starting exploration, expanding nodes, reading relations and opening sources. It also receives technical information such as browser/device information and IP address. We do not send search text, Graph state, names or email addresses from your account, private Capsule content or sharing tokens.

Analytics runs only on plunode.net public exploration pages. It is not loaded on account, authentication or limited-sharing pages. Google may use an anonymous browser cookie for up to six months. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, Ninja AdMax (Ninja Tools Inc.) and its advertising partners receive information such as IP address, browser/device information, the advertisement frame URL and the site's origin (such as https://plunode.net/), and may use cookies for delivery, measurement and personalization. The exploration path, query and hash are not sent as a referrer. Advertising is displayed separately from exploration. It cannot read the parent page's account data, saved content or sharing tokens. Development previews may also show ads for layout verification.

External support service

Choosing the support link opens Buy Me a Coffee in a new tab. Contributions and payments are handled there; Plunode does not collect card details. We do not load its scripts or embeds before you choose a link, and the link does not send the exploration URL as a referrer. Information collected on the external site is covered by its own policy.

Your choices and browser storage

Analytics always requires permission. Advertising starts automatically for connections identified as Japan; elsewhere or when the region is unknown, it requires permission first. Previous off choices remain off. Region detection uses a local IP-to-country table on our server, without sending your IP to a location service. IP location is approximate; VPNs may affect it. You can change each choice below. Disabling them stops new loading; it does not withdraw information already sent. Core exploration and account features remain available. Theme, language, privacy preferences and locally saved explorations/Capsules are stored in your browser. Clearing browser data removes these local items; account saves are stored separately.
